The Laureates of the second edition of the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards were announced at the Annual Global Meeting of the Women’s Forum in Deauville, France on October 17, 2008.

Selected by the international Jury among 13 projects who reached the Finals, the Laureates - one from each continent - are start-up phase entrepreneurs leading businesses that are creative, sustainable and with a positive social impact. Each of them received 20 000 USD, personalized coaching support, networking opportunities and media visibility.
