The Cartier Women's Initiative Awards are a joint project by Cartier and the Women's Forum, supported by McKinsey & Company and INSEAD business school.

To encourage the next generation of women entrepreneurs and to recognize their invaluable contribution to world economy, Cartier, the Women’s Forum, McKinsey and INSEAD joined forces in 2006 to create the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards.
THE WOMEN'S FORUM FOR THE ECONOMY AND SOCIETY
Created by Aude de Thuin in 2005, the Women’s Forum is an independent gathering, rated as one of the world’s top five international Forums by the Financial Times (24/01/07). Its purpose is to highlight the contribution of women in addressing global challenges, by creating high quality debates between men and women of influence. It takes place every year in October.
